Betsey is chafing at the bit to have what she quaintly refers to as LobsterFest, and offers two Saturday dates: July 27 and Aug 3. I'm polling the membership to see who can make which date, so we can maximize the attendance. There is a slight pref for Aug 3, though either should do nicely.

It would be great if we can make this year's event as easy as possible for our host, who is determined for this event to happen. Not sure exactly what "easy as possible" means, specifically, and if you have some suggestions, that'd be great, and I'll pass 'em along. If you have any reservations or concerns, I invite you to take them up with Ms. B.

But we're asking for the usual info (please send to me, and I'll compile 'em for Betsey):

1) The date(s) you and your party can make it (and a preference, if you have one)
2) How many in your party
3) How many lobsters your party would like to consume
4) What food item you'd like to bring
5) Suggested appeasements to the weather gods

SANE Meeting Tuesday 7 May!! Whaaa??

Okay, I'd worked well into Tuesday night and missed the last meeting, and didn't phone in, but the meeting-goers picked a new meeting date and I then never actually passed that along... I'm just falling asleep at the wheel, aren't I? I'm very sorry to have let my SANE responsibilities go, and hope I can make it up to y'alls.

The better-late-than-never news is: The next meeting is slated for this upcoming Tuesday, 7 May 2013!!

I don't know what we're doing or where we're doing it, but will consult the oracle (and email) for inspiration. Whaddya think, troops? Suggestions? Projects, Hosts?
