SANE Meeting 24 June 2008

The next SANE meeting will take place:

Tuesday, 24 April 2008, at 7ish or thereabouts.
At Molly's Studio* (use rear entrance or scary fire escape)
*them what needs directions, send a message back and I'll forward same.

Because our project is pretty messy, Molly has volunteered her studio for our use, though she herself may not be there. While we're there, any who want to assemble frames for her busted-up eyeglasses project will be welcome to help themselves help her. We're going to be set up atop the pool table, so if you are determined to play pool, you must reduce yourself to less than 3" in height. Good luck with that.

This month's project is paste paper: Slopping colored goop on paper, diddling with it in aesthetically pleasing ways, then hanging it up to dry. I have done some snooping on the InterWebs, and found a few sources:

As far as I am aware (which, these days, is a very short walk), nobody is signed up to honcho us through this project, and if anyone wants to cook up a batch of the plain non-colored goop (to which we could add color, to taste) (hey, a synesthesia joke!), lemme know and I'll spread the word. Otherwise, it's up to everybody to make their own goop and/or color it theyselfs.

Bring paper, goop, color. I'll bring some sort of drying apparatus. Molly will supply table, floor and lights.

If this doesn't all work out, we could shrink ourselves down to 3" and play pool.
