I blame myself -- did not get on the scheduling soon enough, and now it's nearly October! We didn't have a quorum (or even a half-dinar) to get in a meeting before September skulked back into its cave, put on its sleepy mask and nod off until August bangs on it's door again in 2013, so I' trying to sneak up on October (2012) so we can hogtie it before its alarm goes off.
Oddly, I have an ache in my metaphorhead.
Early Oct is difficult for some, so I'm thinking Oct 16 (Flip's Natal Day) or Oct 23 (Flip's Natal One-Week anniversary). We don't need to do something Halloweenish, but could. Other project suggestions/inspirationals that have come to me in the intervening months since LobsterPalooza are:
papercraft -- paper people who sit on your shelves
cement bleak -- images in metal strainers/screens
string puppets -- fine art puppets and/or coffee tables
Although there's always orizomegamy (or the other two names we've used for folding paper and adding inkage. Kinda tie-dyed paper-ish. Or Gocco, or Rocky Rococo, Or Bobby Valentine Voo-doo That You-Do So Well dolls. or we could do anything, anything at all.
Sorry about Sept., it's been a very fast month so far anyway. Send me your choice/options for Oct, and we'll try to get that nailed down. In this metaphor, the meeting date is NOT a bear or anything that lives in a cave, because nailing it down would then be cruel, not to mention dangerous.
